It is a great honor for me to be a part of the EWSC family in this year where the nation celebrates the Golden Jubilee.  This message is primarily aimed at wishing the ESWC FAMILY a happy and very prosperous New Year.

This is always a very hopeful time, as the year draws to an end and we anticipate the upcoming year, I have no doubt that many of you are looking forward to better days ahead for yourselves personally and also collectively for the organization.  While 2018 was a very difficult year financially for the nation and indeed for EWSC, I stand very confident that each of you have the courage and determination to rise up against the challenges and bring the turn around that is required. I have observed that the Corporation has shown great resilience in times when the physical and economic environment is plagued by many challenges.

Your efforts, commitment and dedication is an integral part of the continued existence of the Corporation. This evidence, makes our slogan “We do it through our people” not just cliché but a reality we live in at EWSC. In 2019 let us continue to ensure we thrive for excellence in delivering service to our customers and all other stakeholders who are in essence our valued business partners. I am aware that we face even tougher times ahead, but through continued engagement internally and relentless focus on our strategic goals, we will come out victorious. Though the economic conditions are still uncertain, I believe Government’s fiscal strategy will yield positive results.

May I, on behalf of the Board and Management, take this opportunity to wish everybody a very happy, safe, peaceful and prosperous New Year in all respects. You are all valuable members of the EWSC family and I would like to thank each one of you for the contributions you make daily towards the betterment of the Corporation.

May God bless you and keep you in 2019 and beyond
